Bob is a founding partner of Tennant Risk Services and has been involved since 1987.  He has significant experience in the insurance agents E&O segment as both a broker and underwriter and has expertise in the hard-to-place segment for this class.  Bob has over twenty-five years of experience in professional liability.  He is a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU), a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and is a licensed Insurance Producer and Excess & Surplus Lines Broker.  He started in the industry on the company side in both actuarial and underwriting, and has also worked for a reinsurance intermediary.

Bob currently serves on the Executive Board of NAPSLO (the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Organizations) and on a carrier’s advisory board.  He is also the Managing Partner of Tennant Capital Partners, and serves on the Boards of BIS Management Services, Inc. and American Medical Experts, LLC.  He has served on other insurance company advisory boards and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Bob is a Corporator of Hartford Hospital and a Trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford.  He has been involved in a number of other community and national organizations including Outward Bound.   Bob’s favorite activities are skiing, squash, hunting and fishing.  Bob is married with four children.  You may not know:  Bob continues to play lacrosse every year in a tournament in Vail, Colorado.
